environments. He spent a significant part of his career in the semiconductor equipment industry,
first at the Watkins-Johnson Company and later at Applied Materials, Inc., where he led cross-
functional product teams that transferred four generations of Dielectric Deposition Technology to
customers in Japan, Europe and US.
He has an MBA in Executive Management from St. Mary’s College of California, a PhD in
Engineering from Arizona State University, a Master’s in Materials Science from Carnegie-Mellon
University and a Bachelor’s in Metallurgical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology,
Bombay.
